  • ANDREW RUTH holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University in History and History of Art and a Masters from New York University in Arts Administration. Over thirty years in the field, he held positions as Assistant to the Director at Midtown Galleries, Assistant Director at Barbara Mathes Gallery, and Director of Marisa del Rey Gallery. In 1996, he joined Art Advisory Services, where he became partner in 1999. He has curated numerous exhibitions internationally, including the Biennale de Sculpture in Monaco. In 2004, he founded Ruth|Catone with Gabriel Catone.
  • GABRIEL CATONE graduated from Yale University with a BA in the History of Art. He was Assistant to the Director in charge of public programming and press at the Yale Center for British Art before joining Art Advisory Services in 1996, where he was named partner in 2003. In 2004, he founded Ruth|Catone with Andrew Ruth. He is a board member of the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas.
  • RACHEL CARR GOULDING joined Ruth|Catone in 2011, becoming a partner in 2015. She graduated cum laude from Yale University with a degree in the History of Art, where she earned the A. Conger Goodyear Fine Arts Award. She earned an MA in modern art with distinction from the Courtauld Institute in London and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has worked in the Photographs Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Sotheby's and spent 8 years as an Associate at Art Advisory Services.
  • RANYA HUSAMI GHANDOUR joined Ruth|Catone in 2008 while completing her Master's degree in Modern Art and Curatorial Studies at Columbia University. She previously worked at Christie's New York in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Department, and curated the U.S. representation at the 12th International Cairo Biennale in 2010-2011. She graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College with a degree in the history of art. She is based in Dubai.
  • MICHAEL JERCH graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina in 2006 with a BFA in Studio Art: Photography. He was a Registrar for the Contemporary, Impressionist/Modern, American, and Private Sales departments at Sotheby's until 2008, when he joined Ruth|Catone.
  • CASSITY BLAKE MILLER joined Ruth|Catone in 2014. She graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College with a BA in both French and Psychology and earned her MA in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, where her thesis on the use of organic media in postwar art was marked with Distinction.  She has previously held positions at ESKart, a private art advisory in Manhattan, and at Sotheby’s, where she was the Registrar for the Contemporary, Impressionist & Modern, American, and Private Sales departments.
  • CHA TORI joined Ruth|Catone in 2014. He graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in Literary Studies. Working as both an artist and arts organizer, he was a resident artist at Salem Art Works, interned at Hauser & Wirth, and founded and directed the Middlebury student art gallery, M Gallery.
