  • ANDREW RUTH holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University in History and History of Art and a Masters from New York University in Arts Administration. Over thirty years in the field, he held positions as Assistant to the Director at Midtown Galleries, Assistant Director at Barbara Mathes Gallery, and Director of Marisa del Rey Gallery. In 1996, he joined Art Advisory Services, where he became partner in 1999. He has curated numerous exhibitions internationally, including the Biennale de Sculpture in Monaco. In 2004, he founded Ruth|Catone with Gabriel Catone.
  • GABRIEL CATONE graduated from Yale University with a BA in the History of Art. He was Assistant to the Director in charge of public programming and press at the Yale Center for British Art before joining Art Advisory Services in 1996, where he was named partner in 2003. In 2004, he founded Ruth|Catone with Andrew Ruth. He is a board member of the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas.
  • RACHEL CARR GOULDING joined Ruth|Catone in 2011, becoming a partner in 2015. She graduated cum laude from Yale University with a degree in the History of Art, where she earned the A. Conger Goodyear Fine Arts Award. She earned an MA in modern art with distinction from the Courtauld Institute in London and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has worked in the Photographs Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, at Sotheby's and spent 8 years as an Associate at Art Advisory Services.
  • RANYA HUSAMI GHANDOUR joined Ruth|Catone in 2008 while completing her Master's degree in Modern Art and Curatorial Studies at Columbia University. She previously worked at Christie's New York in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Department, and curated the U.S. representation at the 12th International Cairo Biennale in 2010-2011. She graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College with a degree in the history of art. She is based in Dubai.
  • LAUREL DIAL joined Ruth|Catone in 2017. She holds a BS in Anthropology and Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MA in Archaeology from Columbia University. Previously, she was the Director of Collections for the MacAndrews & Forbes Collections, Curator for the Leiden Collection, and held registar positions at The Asia Society Museum and Sotheby’s Contemporary Art and Non-Western and Ethnographic Departments.
  • ALESSIA BECKERjoined Ruth|Catone in 2019. She graduated cum laude with a BA in Art History and a concentration in Museum Studies and Conservatorship from Smith College. She has held internships at Toluca Fine Art in Paris and Untitled Art Fairs in New York and previously worked for a private London-based Latin American art advisory specializing in Post-War and Contemporary photography.
  • EMALINE PRYORjoined Ruth Catone in 2020. She holds a BA in Art History with a minor in Communications from Denison University. Previously she was the Gallery Manager at David Zwirner and worked in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Department in Private Sales at Christie‚Äôs. She has also held positions in Client Strategy at Christies, Valuations at Paddle8 and at Neal Meltzer Fine Art.
